1-Project to install an apiary at the ranch of Ngaoundaba (January-February 2015)
Located 3 km from Dibi in Adamawa, the ranch of Ngaoundaba is a picturesque place that welcomes many visitors every year. Its peace and beauty make it an ideal place for tourists and others seeking tranquility. It is ideal for organizing meetings, with conference rooms and bedrooms. Its characteristic is the presence of a natural lake and a horse park. In this exceptional place, it is easy to spot bee colonies. It is in this lush as we implemented an apiary. Visitors will have the opportunity to train and learn about beekeeping and local beekeeping practices, but especially to taste the delights of a rustic honey, multifloral, produced with great care in respecting biodiversity.
2- Upcoming projects: ‘Popularization of beekeeping in Adamawa and the Centre’
This pilot project involves installing beehives in the bee communities and groups. It aims to promote beekeeping in the center and face the constant decrease in the bee population in Adamawa following bad human practices. The long term impact is to boost production and the local economy. It aims eventually to install 10,000 beehives in Adamawa and in the center. The signing partnerships with groups and communities will from November 2016. We will provide further information in our website. Contact us for details.
We are available to beekeepers and the public reports, articles and beekeeping interest publications. We deal with current issues beekeeping in Cameroon and in the world.
